We will ship you the custom fireplace mantel, an attached French cleat, separate wall cleat, and lag bolts.
Step 1 - locate and mark the studs in the wall.
Step 2 - using a 11/64” drill bit, pre-drill holes into the mounting cleat and into the wall.
Step 3 - bolt wall cleat into position to receive the mantel and corresponding mounting cleat.
Step 4 - slide the mantel onto the wall cleat and float the fireplace beam or secure into position with construction adhesive in the seam of the cleat.
